The makers of Ramayana: Part 1 released the film's first motion poster on Ganesh Chaturthi, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Set against a lush forest with a flowing river, the poster depicts Ram placing a flower in Sita's hair in a quiet moment. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the epic film is planned as a two-part release, with the first instalment arriving on November 6, 2026, and the second in October 2027. The star-studded cast includes Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana, Arun Govil as King Dasharatha, Yash as Ravan, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman are handling the music, while visual effects are managed by DNEG and Prime Focus.
