Rangers Secure 4-0 Victory Over St Johnstone
· Sports · BBC Sport
Rangers defeated St Johnstone 4-0 in a dominant performance that followed a disappointing draw at Dundee. Strikers Kevin Kelsy and Ryan Naderi led the attack, with Kelsy scoring twice and Naderi contributing a goal and an assist. The victory marked the first time this season that Rangers have scored from a corner kick. Despite a brief period of pressure from St Johnstone at the start of the second half, Rangers maintained control throughout the match. The win narrows the gap between Rangers and Celtic in the league standings.
Why it matters
The win provides Rangers with critical momentum and boosts the confidence of their attacking partnership as they navigate the absence of key players Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti.
