Real Madrid explore attacking options with Vinicius absent
· Sports · BBC Sport
Vinicius Jr's four-match La Liga suspension has forced Real Madrid to reshuffle their attack, delivering one of their most complete offensive displays of the season. Against Sevilla, Kylian Mbappe led the line with Endrick on the right and Yan Diomande on the left, supported by Jude Bellingham in midfield in a 4-1 victory. In the Champions League win over RB Leipzig, Mbappe again headed the line with Vinicius and Arda Guler behind him, before Diomande came off the bench to score with a volley. Manager Mourinho has made clear no player is untouchable, with performances determining starting positions.
Why it matters
