A Reddit user has released an open-source project called TVPort that allows Nintendo Switch games to run natively on an Apple TV 4K. The developer utilized Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 to decompile and recompile the software for the set-top box. The tool enables users to choose between 30 fps and 60 fps target framerates and backs up save files to a Mac or iCloud. While games like Super Mario Odyssey run at 60 fps with minor stutters, heavier titles like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom face thermal throttling issues.
