Rishabh Pant will captain a 15-member India A squad for a multi-day, three-match red-ball tour of New Zealand starting on October 24. Several red-ball regulars, including KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, Washington Sundar, Sai Sudharsan, and Dhruv Jurel, are included in the squad to acclimatise ahead of the Test series in November. The tour opens at Lincoln on October 24, moves to Christchurch for the second match on October 31, and concludes back at Lincoln on November 7. The squad also features bowlers Akash Deep, Anshul Kamboj, Manav Suthar, and Mukesh Kumar.
