Roshibina Devi Naorem won a silver medal in the women's 60kg sanda event at the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, despite minimal preparation. She replaced an injured Divyanshi Choudhary just three days before the event. With this victory, the 25-year-old Manipur Police DSP became the first Indian wushu player to win medals in three consecutive Asian Games. She lost the final to China's Zhang Xiaoyu 0-2. Roshibina took up wushu at age 12 by filling a vest with rice husk to practice in her village.
