Russia is widening a campaign of hybrid attacks against European countries that arm and fund Ukraine, including sabotage, cyber intrusions, and disinformation, according to intelligence officials cited by Bloomberg. The operation targets NATO and EU members supplying weapons or financial aid to Kyiv, with incidents reported across Germany, Poland, the Baltics, and other Eastern European capitals. European governments lack a unified defence strategy, leaving individual states to react piecemeal to each incident. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and national intelligence agencies have warned of intensified sabotage plots and proxy operations inside allied borders. The gap between Moscow's aggression and Europe's response has grown wider as the war in Ukraine enters its third year. Officials declined to name every affected country, saying investigations remain active.
