The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) identified 207 cases, with 199 in England, six in Scotland, one in Wales, and one in Northern Ireland. Authorities suspect the infections are linked to eggs imported from outside the UK. Approximately 38% of those affected required hospitalisation, with two individuals suffering from severe bloodstream infections.
