In an interview with Cory Levy, founder of Z Fellow, Altman described what he termed the decadence of ChatGPT, noting that the AI would operate all the time while allowing users to choose what information it can access. The system is designed to work alongside users by offering suggestions or handling smaller tasks using vast amounts of contextual data, such as customer history or strategy documents. This development follows OpenAI's recent introduction of Computer History for the ChatGPT desktop app on Mac, which tracks activity across selected apps and websites using macOS accessibility features like clicks, typing, and keyboard shortcuts. Altman explained that the AI would act as an extra pair of hands for individuals handling heavy workloads, though the capability also raises surveillance concerns.
