Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy Buds On, marking the company's first foray into a clip-on wireless earbud design. Unlike traditional in-ear models, the Buds On rest around the ear to leave the ear canal open, allowing users to stay aware of their surroundings. The earbuds feature TwinBoost speakers, Audio Leakage Reduction, and automatic volume control powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform. They also integrate Galaxy AI capabilities such as Gemini Live, Quick Voice Memo, and head gestures, delivering up to 9.5 hours of continuous playback. Samsung has scheduled the initial launch for October 27 in South Korea priced at 299,000 won, with a broader global rollout to follow.
