Leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation signed the Bishkek Declaration in Kyrgyzstan, condemning military strikes and Western sanctions on Iran. The joint statement was endorsed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The grouping expressed condolences over the death of Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei and criticized strikes on Palestine. SCO members also voiced opposition to unilateral coercive measures that violate UN rules and impact the global economy.
