Jammu and Kashmir seamer Rohit Sharma claimed four wickets on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season against Madhya Pradesh in Srinagar. The 32-year-old right-arm bowler dismissed Harsh Gawli, Himanshu Mantri, and debutants Chanchal Rathod and Atharva Mahajan. Jammu and Kashmir dominated the opening two sessions of the match in Group A. Sharma has played 22 First-Class matches, taking 39 wickets at an average of 34.66. His last appearance for the state side was against Services in October 2024.
