A massive search operation involving five vessels, two Dornier aircraft, and a helicopter is underway to trace missing fishermen off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. State Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu stated on Friday that officials are maintaining constant coordination with the Indian Coast Guard and the Navy. Information about the missing boat has been shared with authorities in Myanmar, Port Blair, and areas near the Bangladesh border to alert regional officials. Although the boat has not yet been traced, the Minister assured families that operations will not stop until the fishermen are safely brought back. Coast Guard officials confirmed that the extensive search at sea will continue past August 24, when a new officer is scheduled to take charge.
