Security forces have entered the second day of an anti-terror operation within the dense forest area of Budgam district in Jammu & Kashmir. The mission began on Thursday following intelligence reports regarding the movement of a suspected terrorist group from Pakherpora in Pulwama toward Yousmarg. Authorities have restricted tourist access to the Doodhpathri area until further notice to ensure public safety. Additional personnel have been deployed to strengthen the cordon and prevent the suspects from escaping through the Pir Panjal range. The forest terrain connects to several districts, including Poonch, Rajouri, Baramulla, Pulwama, and Shopian.
