Security Forces Launch Joint Operation in Udhampur After Suspicious Movement Input

Security forces launched a joint search operation in the Majalta area of Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on Thursday following intelligence reports of suspicious movement. A team comprising the Indian Army, the CRPF, and the Special Operations Group of the Jammu and Kashmir Police is conducting the searches. The operation follows the arrest of three individuals in Rajouri on September 15 for allegedly running an overground worker network linked to the LeT. Police stated that the arrested suspects provided logistical support, safe transit, and ground assistance to terrorists operating in the region. Investigators also recovered an improvised explosive device based on information provided by one of the accused.
