Several people sustained injuries after a section of the Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata collapsed amid heavy crowd pressure on Saptami evening, triggering a stampede-like situation. Emergency responders and police personnel reached the site to manage the crowd and evacuate the injured to Calcutta Medical College Hospital for treatment.
