Shraddha Dubey denies murder in Shiva Sharma death, tells mother 'you lost a son, I lost my boyfriend'
· India · Times of India, NDTV, Hindustan Times
Shraddha Dubey, the prime accused in the death of live-in partner Shiva Sharma, released a video denying murder allegations. She appealed to the media not to spread rumours, alleging Sharma's mother had accused her and others of murder without knowing full circumstances. Dubey claimed Sharma repeatedly told her he would die by suicide if unable to repay borrowed money. She recounted that on October 9, she and Sharma woke up, made tea, and went to the washroom; when her sister opened the gate, Sharma jumped from the balcony. Dubey alleged Sharma's mother assaulted her driver at the hospital, claiming it was caught on camera.
Why it matters
Shraddha Dubey's statements directly challenge the murder narrative from Shiva Sharma's family, potentially shifting the investigation's direction and affecting the legal proceedings for both families.
