The State Investigation Agency (SIA) has arrested 35-year-old Manoj Kumar Bhat, also known as Pintu, in Jammu for his alleged involvement in a cross-border narco-terror financing network. The arrest follows a four-year search for the suspect, who had previously evaded police custody while allegedly smuggling heroin. Pintu is the first Kashmiri Pandit to be apprehended by the agency for links to Pakistan-sponsored terror-financing operations. The suspect, whose family migrated from the Kashmir Valley over 35 years ago, was reportedly hiding in the Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to dismantle the network.
