Bzdak remains jailed on a $1 million bond on suspicion of attempted murder, with no motive yet established by investigators. Community leaders say the attack follows rising anti-Sikh sentiment on trucking forums, particularly after recent debates over commercial driver licensing involving Sikh drivers. Harsimran Singh, CEO of Gillson Trucking, stated he had never experienced such hate in over 25 years in the industry.
