Sixteen individuals from Kerala have returned to the state following devastating flash floods in the Nepal-Tibet border region. A help desk established by NoRKA-Roots has confirmed the safety of 45 Keralites who were stranded in the area. Among those who returned is a 14-member group from Kochi and a traveler who had been visiting for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Authorities are currently seeking information on seven missing persons, including four individuals who hold Australian citizenship. The state government has directed NoRKA-Roots to coordinate travel arrangements for those attempting to reach Kerala from Nepal.
