Social Activist Anna Hazare Admitted to Mumbai ICU

Veteran Gandhian social activist Anna Hazare has been admitted to the ICU at Bombay Hospital in Mumbai after contracting a severe viral infection and acute dehydration. The 89-year-old activist fell ill while undergoing treatment at a local hospital near his native village of Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra. He was subsequently transferred to Mumbai for advanced medical care under the supervision of Dr Gautam Bhansali. Doctors are currently conducting a detailed health assessment to determine his ongoing treatment plan.
