Sri Lankan batter Sonal Dinusha has become the third player in history to score 80 or more runs in each of his first three Test innings against India. Dinusha has also demonstrated exceptional skill against spin, scoring 122 of his 284 runs against spin bowlers through various sweep shots. His performance has been instrumental in stabilizing the Sri Lankan innings, which reached 265 for eight before bad light stopped play. He is the first player since Abbas in 1978 to achieve this specific three-match scoring streak against India.
