· Sports · Times of India, NDTV Sports
Spain have set a new record for the longest winning streak in international cricket by securing 24 consecutive victories. The milestone was achieved during the Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifiers in Southern Finland, surpassing Australia's previous record of 20 wins set in 2003 under Ricky Ponting and Steve Waugh. Spain's streak includes T20I series victories against the Isle of Man and Jersey, alongside two series against Croatia. Their latest win came against Bulgaria on August 18, when they chased down a target of 60 in 29 deliveries to win by nine wickets. The team advanced past Australia's 20-match benchmark by defeating Finland on August 14 for their 21st consecutive win.
