Spotify has introduced a global mobile setting that enables parents to prevent children's music from influencing their personal taste profiles and year-end Wrapped recaps. Announced on Tuesday, the feature stops animated movie soundtracks, nursery rhymes, and kids' TV theme songs from skewing personalized recommendations like Discover Weekly and Daily Mix. The tool applies retroactively, ensuring that previous plays of children's tracks are removed from a listener's top songs and artists once activated. While enabled by default, users can manually turn off the setting by navigating to the content and display section within the app's settings. The update is available to both Free and Premium subscribers worldwide.
