Sri Lankan javelin thrower Rumesh Pathirage secured his first Diamond League final victory in Brussels with a winning throw of 89.04 metres. Pathirage dominated the competition, consistently outperforming rivals including 2025 world champion Keshorn Walcott and 2024 Diamond League winner Anderson Peters. Poland’s Dawid Wagner finished second with a personal best of 87.47 metres.
