Stefany Shaheen and Anthony DiLorenzo won their respective Democratic and Republican primaries on Tuesday to compete for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District seat. The seat is currently held by Democratic Representative Chris Pappas, who is running for the Senate. Shaheen, a former Portsmouth City councilor, defeated Marine Corps veteran Maura Sullivan in the Democratic contest. Trump-backed businessman DiLorenzo secured the Republican nomination after fending off several other candidates.
