Supreme Court allows Delhi High Court to monitor Satya Niketan construction case

The Supreme Court on Thursday allowed the Delhi High Court to continue monitoring the case regarding way construction and misuse of residential properties in Satya Niketan. The bench declined to interfere in the proceedings, noting that the issues are local and best handled by the High Court. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the Delhi government, assured the court of their commitment to complying with judicial orders. The Supreme Court has also directed the way Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to submit a report by next week detailing actions taken against properties exceeding the fourth floor.
