T‑Hub and OKI Launch Deep‑Tech Startup Programme in Japan

Startup incubator T‑Hub in Hyderabad has partnered with Japanese ICT firm OKI Electric to launch a programme aimed at validating and commercialising Indian deep‑tech innovations in Japan. More than 150 startups applied; after a multi‑stage review, eight companies were selected to work with OKI on industrial use cases in water infrastructure, logistics and supply chain. The eight firms will collaborate directly with OKI’s business and technical teams, receive guidance on product‑market fit for Japanese markets and pursue pilot projects and co‑development opportunities. The partnership comes as India and Japan seek to deepen technology and innovation ties, ahead of the 2027 India‑Japan Year of Shared Horizons celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations. T‑Hub CEO Kavikrut said the scheme translates business priorities into solvable problem statements and the collaboration reflects a commitment to scale Indian startups globally.
