Ahad Ali, a former accountant, has launched Tabby, an AI-driven platform designed to automate bookkeeping for small businesses. The product offers real-time financial data, including profit and loss statements, by integrating live account data through Plaid. Tabby aims to eliminate the need for traditional accounting software like QuickBooks by making bookkeeping a seamless, monthly service. In its first 14 months, Tabby has attracted 5,500 small businesses and generated $100,000 in annual recurring revenue. The team is currently raising $1 million in pre-seed funding and preparing to launch Tabby Talk, a natural language interface.
