Makers of the 2021 hit comedy-thriller Zombie Reddy are set to officially announce its sequel, Zombie Reddy 2, on August 23, 2026, coinciding with lead actor Teja Sajja's 31st birthday. The original film, directed by Prasanth Varma, followed a game designer from Hyderabad whose trip to Rayalaseema triggers a deadly zombie outbreak. According to production sources, the sequel will be mounted on a much bigger scale with a different director at the helm. The original cast featured Anandhi, Daksha Nagarkar, and Getup Srinu in key roles.
