Telangana ACB Seizes Assets in NIMS Official Corruption Probe

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a disproportionate assets case against Nori Lakshmi Bhaskar, an Additional Medical Superintendent at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad. Investigators conducted searches at eight locations, uncovering luxury vehicles including a Jaguar and an Audi, as well as significant gold holdings and multiple real estate properties. The assets, which include flats in high-rise communities and various financial investments, are valued at over Rs 6 crore. The 56-year-old official is accused of accumulating these assets through corrupt practices during his government service.
