The Cockroach Janta Party has called a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on October 10 demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Protestors are expected to begin gathering in the morning of October 10. As a precaution, entry and exit will be closed at 57 metro stations across Delhi starting from 9 pm on Friday. Trains arriving at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations have been cancelled from 4 am to 2 pm on Saturday. Police checkpoints have been set up at eight major entry and exit points to Delhi in Faridabad, each manned by 30 personnel in 12-hour shifts.
