Chinese schoolgirl Yu Zidi won the 200m butterfly gold medal on the opening day of the Asian Games in Tokyo with a record-breaking time of two minutes 05.08 seconds. The 13-year-old beat compatriot Chang Mohan by over three seconds, shaving nearly half a second off Zhang Yufei's previous Asian Games record set three years ago.
