Three Telangana Students Killed in Florida Road Accident

Three students from Telangana died on Tuesday after their car collided with a tree on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, Florida. The victims were travelling to their part-time jobs when the accident occurred. N Rahul, a student from Navipet in Nizamabad who had enrolled for a PhD at the South Florida University, was among those killed. While the driver and the front-seat passenger died at the scene, Rahul passed away in a hospital. The identities of the other two deceased students have not yet been disclosed by officials.
Why it matters
The incident highlights the risks faced by the growing number of Indian students working part-time jobs while pursuing higher education abroad. The Telugu Association of North America is currently coordinating with local authorities in Florida to facilitate the repatriation of the victims' remains.
