Tiger Shroff Attackers Fled 4 km Past Mumbai Police Checkpoints
· India · Indian Express, NDTV
Three men on a single motorcycle opened fire at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday evening, riding nearly 4 kilometres through peak-hour traffic without being stopped. The attack occurred barely 100 metres from Juhu police station, following a route past Mithibai College, the SV Road junction, and the Andheri east-west flyover where traffic police are routinely deployed. The suspects abandoned their motorcycle outside a police beat chowky near Andheri railway station, crossed the foot bridge, and allegedly fled in a booked car towards the east. The seized motorcycle was found two hours later at 9 pm and is now kept at DN Nagar police station as investigators examine CCTV footage. No arrests have been made, and police have not yet confirmed the involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, though a social media post claimed responsibility.
Why it matters
The brazen attack on a high-profile actor in peak traffic exposes critical security lapses and echoes previous unsolved celebrity targeting cases in Mumbai.
