Transformer Thieves Arrested After Recovery Truck Gets Stuck In Barnala

Villagers in Alkada village of Barnala district apprehended a man identified as Lovepreet Singh following a failed attempt to steal a transformer. The accused and his accomplices reportedly attempted to transport the stolen equipment using a truck, which became bogged down in mud during the escape. The recovery vehicle brought to retrieve the stuck truck also became trapped in the same location. Local residents intercepted the suspects, leading to the capture of Lovepreet Singh while others reportedly fled the scene. The individual has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
