Multiple Turkish C-130 Hercules transport aircraft made repeated flights between Turkey and Pakistan over a 60-hour period, according to intelligence inputs. The aircraft were observed landing at the Nur Khan airbase near Rawalpindi and the Masroor airbase in Karachi between August 19 and August 21. Intelligence sources indicate that the unusual sortie pattern likely delivered a large consignment of drones and an HQ-series air-defence system to Islamabad. Pakistan has been rapidly expanding its unmanned aerial warfare capabilities under bilateral defence arrangements involving Turkey. Army Chief General Asim Munir is actively driving these military procurements despite the country's ongoing economic challenges.
