Two men died after allegedly being exposed to a strong chemical smell inside a public toilet in Mumbai's eastern suburbs in the early hours of Sunday. BMC officials identified the victims as 24-year-old Prabhakar Dhanivar and 18-year-old Bhavin Desai, who were declared dead at Trauma Care Hospital. Local residents alerted authorities after noticing a severe chemical odour and reporting that two individuals had suffered suffocation near Ram Mandir. The Vanrai police registered an accidental death report and deployed teams from the fire brigade, police, and pollution control board to investigate the source.
