Two MLAs Injured After Out-of-Control Car Crashes Into SUV At ITO

Two lawmakers, Kirari MLA Anil Jha and Karnataka MLA Abhay Patil, sustained minor injuries when an out-of-control hatchback collided with their SUV at the ITO traffic signal in Delhi on Sunday night. According to police, the hatchback hit a road divider near the PWD office, crossed the railing into the opposite carriageway, and crashed into the Innova. The hatchback was driven by a 32-year-old resident of Arya Nagar who was travelling with his wife and two minor children. All injured individuals were taken to LNJP Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Fire brigade personnel cleared the damaged vehicles to restore traffic movement.
Why it matters
The collision caused severe traffic disruption at a major intersection in central Delhi and left multiple occupants, including two sitting legislators, hospitalised with injuries.
