Two UP Cops and Two CRPF Personnel Arrested for Gangrape in Amroha

Two Uttar Pradesh Police personnel and two Central Reserve Police Force personnel have been arrested for the alleged gangrape of a 24-year-old woman from Haryana at a farmhouse in Amroha district. According to Superintendent of Police Lakhan Singh Yadav, the victim alleged she was contacted by a female acquaintance on September 20 to meet CRPF Inspector Mohit in Sonipat, after which she was taken to Hasanpur in Amroha by Mohit, CRPF Head Constable Lalaram Yadav, and Sub-Inspector Sanjay Tomar. The three men allegedly took turns raping her at a rented farmhouse while police Head Constable Pramod arranged food and liquor. Pramod subsequently attempted to rape the victim, but she pushed him out, locked the door, and contacted the police helpline at around 6 am on Wednesday. Police teams from Hasanpur and Rajabpur rushed to the scene, rescued the woman, and apprehended all four accused. An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and all four suspects
