Two Workers Die in Accidents at NHAI Sites in J&K

Two workers died in separate accidents at National Highways Authority of India construction sites in the Samba and Jammu districts of J&K on Tuesday. Gotam Sahu, a worker from Bihar, was killed when a concrete structure collapsed at a bridge project site in Samba’s Jakh area. In a separate incident, Budhi Singh, a 45-year-old worker from Ramban, died after falling from a height at a construction site near the Sidhra Tawi Bridge in Jammu. The state administration and the contractor have provided financial relief to the family of the deceased worker in Samba.
