Uefa and Concacaf Demand $10 Million Payout for Each Fifa Member

Uefa and Concacaf have formally requested that Fifa distribute at least $10 million from its cash reserves to each of its 211 member associations. This demand follows the collapse of the Fifa Forward Enterprise proposal, which would have sold 21% of commercial and ticketing rights to a private equity firm. Uefa stated that Fifa currently holds over $5 billion in reserves and should use these funds to benefit the sport rather than seeking external investment. The request for a total payout of $2.11 billion would be separate from existing funding cycles scheduled for 2027-30. Additionally, Football Association chair Debbie Hewitt has demanded that Fifa release all documents related to the cancelled commercial plan and provide an explanation regarding the suspended status of United States forward Folarin Balogun.
