Bank unions under UFBU have announced a strike over the Centre's five-day banking proposal and delays in releasing the Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. The movement will begin with a 3-day strike from August 31 to September 2, followed by an indefinite strike from October 3. Banking services will likely be hit, but operations via online & mobile banking will continue.
