Ukraine Strikes Russian Refinery as Starlink Services Resume
· World · Axios, BBC News
Ukraine carried out a drone strike against a Russian oil refinery while communication links were re-established. Elon Musk's SpaceX restored Ukraine's Starlink and Starshield satellite services to full capacity after a brief, unexpected throttling earlier in the week. The satellite systems serve as a vital communications backbone for Ukrainian military operations on the front lines. The refinery attack targets Russia's domestic fuel supply infrastructure amid ongoing hostilities. Damage assessments from the strike are currently underway.
