UPSC Opens Portal to Challenge 2026 Main Papers
· India · Indian Express, NDTV
UPSC has opened the Question Paper Representation Portal for candidates appearing in its 2026 Civil Services (Main) Examination. The portal will be live from 31 August to 4 September, giving candidates a five‑day window to submit representations about any question or paper. Representations may only be filed through this portal; submissions via other modes or after 4 September will be rejected. The exam will take place on 21‑23 August and 29‑30 August, and after the final session candidates can use the UPSC online portal to raise concerns. Candidates are advised to be aware of the deadline and use the portal to address any issues that could affect the assessment of their performance.
Why it matters
The portal provides civil‑services aspirants with a formal route to challenge potentially flawed or ambiguous questions, which could influence their final scores and the fairness of the examination.
