The United States has issued an advisory for its citizens in Nepal after reports confirmed that three Americans are among 384 individuals missing following severe flash flooding. The flooding struck the northern Rasuwa district, which borders Tibet, at approximately 8:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday. The preliminary missing count provided by the Nepal Tourism Board includes 291 foreign nationals and 93 Nepali nationals. The three missing American citizens were traveling with Fishtail Tours and Travel, a local agency that has confirmed their status. The US Embassy has urged citizens in affected districts to stay away from riverbanks and low-lying regions while authorities impose travel restrictions on major transport routes.
