US Young Adults Increasingly Concerned About AI Impact on Jobs

A new Pew Research Center survey reveals that 55 per cent of US adults under 30 now feel more concerned than excited about artificial intelligence, up from 39 per cent two years ago. Across all age groups, 52 per cent of Americans express more concern than excitement regarding AI integration into daily life. Furthermore, 71 per cent of all respondents believe AI will reduce job opportunities, with that figure rising to 73 per cent among those under 30. Despite this growing public backlash, AI executives maintain that the technology will ultimately drive productivity gains for businesses and consumers.
