Vadgaon Maval Court Receives Charge Sheet in Lohagad Fort Murder Case

Police filed a 5,053-page charge sheet in the Vadgaon Maval court in Pune on Saturday regarding the June murder of Ketan Agarwal at Lohagad Fort. The document names Agarwal's fiancée Siya Pravin Goyal, her alleged lover Chetan Babulaal Chaudhary, and Ritesh Sanjay Hange as accused, all of whom are currently in jail. According to Pune rural superintendent of police Sandeep Singh Gill, investigators have cited more than 100 witnesses, including five eyewitnesses, along with digital evidence such as mobile phone data and WhatsApp chats. Investigators allege the trio initially planned to seriously injure Agarwal and explored hiring an outsider before deciding to carry out the killing themselves. Police state that the suspects watched murder-related films, listened to podcasts on avoiding police detection, and studied the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya while planning the crime.
