Vadodara event brings digital registration, QR entry & seating management to PM programme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme in Vadodara, Gujarat, saw all 42,000 seats booked within an hour through a first-of-its-kind digital registration system on BookMyShow. The Vadodara Municipal Corporation managed free registrations via the platform, which also enabled digital entry via QR codes for verified attendees. On Tuesday, Modi will inaugurate three sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) spanning 326 km and costing over ₹20,700 crore, improving connectivity between industrial hubs and Jawaharlal Nehru Port. He will also flag off freight train services from multiple stations in Vadodara and dedicate railway projects worth ₹9,700 crore. The digital system aims to streamline crowd management and venue access.
