Walmart To Accept Apple Pay In US Stores

Walmart will begin accepting tap-to-pay services, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, at select Walmart and Sam's Club locations in the US starting Monday, August 24, 2026. The retailer plans to expand this payment option to all its US stores by the end of 2026. Gas stations operated by the company are scheduled to receive the update by mid-2027. Walmart has already been supporting Apple Pay in its Canadian stores since 2020.
